We have a variety of volunteer opportunities with new ones added on a regular basis. The following outline provides an example of current openings:

1. Volunteers needed to collect cell phones twice per month from the thirty-six boxes out in the communities of Carthage, Southern Pines, Aberdeen, and Pinehurst. We also need someone to pack and ship the phones to the recyclers
2. Excellent typists are needed on a “will call” basis to create mailing lists and other written materials
3. In May we will need a volunteer to supervise our coin bank collections, as well as two or three volunteers to assist in the coin bank collections
4. All of our major fundraising activities listed throughout the year on the website calendar require a number of volunteers in a variety of capacities – please call the office for particulars
